Bank Promotion Exams 2024 are conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS (a govt. owned personnel recruitment agency).
These exams are actually conducted for various Public Sector Banks (PSBs) as well as Rural Sector Banks (RRBs) like SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, Reserve Bank of India, National Bank for Rural & Agriculture Development, Small Industries Development Bank of India, few co-operative Banks, LIC & some insurance companies who the members of IBPS .

Officer ( Scale-I [IT Officer] ) after 1 year of experience as one is eligible to get promotions to IT Manager (Scale-II).
Chartered Accountant:
An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 1 year of experience as CA
Law Officer:
An officer in a bank or financial institution with 2 years of experience as Officer Scale-I is eligible to be promoted to Scale-II Officer (Manager).
Treasury Manager:
Chartered Accountant/MBA working as Scale-I Officer (Finance) for 1 year in Bank can level up to Scale-II.
Marketing Officer:
A Marketing Officer (Scale-I) having 1 year of work experience in the Bank can scale up to Officer (Scale-II)
Agricultural Officer:
A Banker of Officer cadre (Scale-I) is eligible for promotion to Scale-II Officer after 1 year of work experience as Scale-I Officer
Note: Having the JAIIB & CAIIB Certificate can get you a seniority of 1 year each in the promotion process. Thus, you can write the exams 1 year earlier (if you only have JAIIB) or 2 years earlier (if you have JAIIB as well as CAIIB) from the required experience in the given Scale for your post-promotion.
